歐盟食品安全局重新評(píng)估氧化聚乙烯蠟作為食品添加劑的安全性_檢

據(jù)歐盟食品安全局(EFSA)消息,7月2日歐盟食品安全局就重新評(píng)估氧化聚乙烯蠟(oxidised polyethylene wax)作為食品添加劑的安全性發(fā)布意見(jiàn)。

   

歐盟批準(zhǔn)氧化聚乙烯蠟按需用于部分水果表皮。歐盟專家組對(duì)氧化聚乙烯蠟作為食品添加劑進(jìn)行了評(píng)估,然而由于毒理學(xué)數(shù)據(jù)與致癌性數(shù)據(jù)缺乏,尚不能得出ADI數(shù)值。

    

最后經(jīng)過(guò)相應(yīng)評(píng)估,專家組得出結(jié)論認(rèn)為,盡管部分?jǐn)?shù)據(jù)缺乏,在授權(quán)許可條件下,氧化聚乙烯按照?qǐng)?bào)道的最大使用量用于食品無(wú)安全隱患。

The EFSA ANS Panel delivered a scientific opinion re-evaluating the safety of oxidised polyethylene wax (OPEW) (E 914) as a food additive. E 914 is authorised at quantum satis only for the surface treatment of some fruits. The Scientific Committee on Food (SCF) evaluated the use of OPEW as a food additive but could not allocate an ADI and as an additive in food contact materials. The EFSA Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes, Flavourings and Processing Aids (CEF) evaluated OPEW as a food contact material and established a TDI of 1 mg/kg bw/day.
